INITIAL BRIEF

An Italian company specializing in high-end outdoor kitchens asked us to develop an induction hob designed to be seamlessly integrated into its modular systems. The goal was to create a product that is reliable, high-performing, and fully aligned with the brand’s essential design language.

Custom technology, designed for outdoor use.

We designed an induction hob with three independent cooking zones, optimized for outdoor use and configurable for different types of cookware. Control is managed through a slim touch slider with white LEDs, compact and intuitive, conceived to maximize the usable cooking surface and ensure a smooth and effortless user experience.

Stylistic research, technologies, and finishes.

To enhance the brand’s premium identity, we selected a black glass-ceramic surface featuring tone-on-tone micro-dot silk-screen printing. This process delivers a matte, anti-reflective finish with a pleasant tactile feel, while reducing visual elements to a minimum in order to emphasize the project’s formal simplicity.

Controls and user interface.

Control is handled via a slim E.G.O. touch slider with white LEDs, an elegant and compact technological solution designed to guarantee intuitive and fluid interaction even in outdoor environments. The visual feedback is clean and immediate, ensuring excellent readability under different lighting conditions and reinforcing the perception of precision and product quality.

We developed a technical yet refined product, capable of enhancing the outdoor cooking experience with elegance and reliability. A system that does not impose itself visually, but instead engages in a natural dialogue with the outdoor kitchen, completing it with coherence and discretion until it becomes an integral part of it. A construction designed to last over time and withstand outdoor conditions, while preserving performance, perceived quality, and aesthetic identity.
